Why writings by women in the Filipino martial arts? Because they are fast, strong, gutsy, beautiful.

A CALL TO WRITERS:
Are you a woman of any nationality who practices the Filipino martial arts?
You must have arrived from many different dimensions to find your true art of fighting and self-defence. You must have gone far, learned lessons of the muscle and soul, discovered yourself through techniques, encountered obstacles and difficulties in a male dominated field, fought hard and emerged victorious.
Why your choice of martial art? What brought you there?
What do you wish to tell women and all martial artists worldwide?
 

Your contribution will be priceless, the inheritance of many more women who will find themselves in the Filipino martial arts.

- poems: one page
Only UNPUBLISHED works will be considered

LIMIT one submission per author. All submissions will be acknowledged.
You need not be a writer to submit. If you can share your views using the English language,
the Editor (Edessa Ramos) will help you with your work.
If your work is chosen, your approval will be sought for any editing that is done.
